While overall participation in the Annual Fund is an important goal, we also wish to offer special recognition to those who have supported the school at the highest levels. We are especially grateful for these donors who have chosen to make giving to St. Peter’s School a significant philanthropic priority with gifts of $1,000 or more in a single fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). Such gifts are considered Leadership Level Giving and those donors will be recognized in our Annual Report as such, in addition to receiving an invitation to our Leadership Donor Recognition Party, held annually in November.
*Leadership Giving
On a practical level, the Annual Fund provides resources for important yearly priorities including:
In 2018-2019, our faculty members were able to attend over 45 conferences and bring those trainings right back into the classroom. We launched our Sixth Grade boat-building program for the second year in a row. We added cross-country as a sports option. One quarter of our families received the tuition assistance they needed to make an SPS education a reality. And the list goes on. Tuition and endowment revenue alone do not provide the funds necessary to cover the costs associated with supporting these opportunities for development. Without the financial flexibility provided by the Annual Fund, these additions would become question marks and maybes as opposed to a resounding “yes”.
