We are pleased to announce the dates for our Summer REACH Camp program for children ages 3 – 7, who are rising Preschool, Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, First and Second Grade students! Camp will run for 7 weeks, from June 20 (no camp on Juneteenth of July 4) – August 4, 2023.

LEARN MOREWEEK 1 (6/20 – 6/23) Note this week starts on Tuesday, there is no camp on June 19: All the Colors of the Rainbow – Let your artist shine! This week we will be exploring art through various mediums. We will use clay, paint, tye dye, and more to create original works of art that will represent each camper’s unique style.
WEEK 2 (6/26 – 6/30): Fur, Fins, and Feathers – Campers will explore animals from around the world. Campers will learn about the differences and similarities between species they see everyday and ones they may have never heard of before. On Friday campers are invited to bring in their favorite stuffed animal to show to their camp troop.
WEEK 3 (7/3 – 7/7) no camp on July 4: Calling All Superheroes – Campers will use their creativity to create their own superhero for good. Campers will learn about real-life superheroes including presentations from some of our most distinguished community members
WEEK 4 (7/10 – 7/14): Cooking up Fun – Campers take over meal time and learn to cook simple and healthy food. Campers will learn what foods are made in different parts of the world. On Friday parents are invited to a multi-cultural potluck breakfast.
WEEK 5 (7/17 – 7/21): Outdoor Explorers – The outdoors is a natural wonderland just waiting to be investigated. Each explorer will use all their senses to learn about nature, gardens, planting, and even more aspects of our natural world.
WEEK 6 (7/24 – 7/28): Mission SPS – STEM Week – Each classroom will work together to solve an engineering, tech, or science mission. During this week campers will learn how to create experiments to solve their own questions about the world around them.
WEEK 7 (7/31 – 8/4): Drama-O-Rama – Camper thespians will learn about acting and singing to bring a children’s book to life. Campers will use their creativity to create costumes and sets. At the end of the week, parents are invited to a final showcase of the campers’ hard work.
