In this beginner-friendly chess enrichment, kids learn the game from the ground up. Students will learn how to set up the board, what each piece is called, and how each one moves.
Through short, playful lessons, mini-games, and guided practice, students will build problem-solving skills, learn to focus and think ahead, and practice sportsmanship with their peers.
Ideal for beginner-to-intermediate-level players, this course creates a welcoming environment where every child can develop confidence, make new friends, and experience the joy of chess!
